Workout of the Week: Counter Move Series

Work on offensive moves to counter the defense when the first offensive move doesn’t work. This series is broken down into a hesitation series and in and out series.
Start at the midcourt line on either side of the court and attack the three point line.
After each set of moves, finish at the rim with a finishing move of your choice (Layup, Reverse Layup, Runner, Floater, Crow Hop, etc.)
First move in the hesitation series is a hesitation into a front crossover.
Next move is a hesitation into an under the legs crossover.
Next move is a hesitation into a behind the back crossover.
Next move is a hesitation into a spin dribble.
Final move in the series is a hesitation into a retreat dribble and another hesitation.
First move in the in and out series is an in and out into a front crossover.
Next move is an in and out into an under the legs crossover.
Next move is an in and out into a behind the back crossover.
Next move is an in and out into a spin dribble.
Final move in the series is an in and out into a retreat dribble and another in and out.

Do this at as many spots as you deem necessary (wing, top, baseline). Goal is to not miss any. Shoot two free throws in between each series to get a rest and to ensure that drill is done properly at full speed.
